Introduction
In 1978, Japanese scientists launched a research group for Glacilogocial Expedition in Nepal (GEN). They has firstly conducted flight observations to get an overview of Himalayan glaciers. Based on their archieves stored in Nagoya Univseristy, flight observation was conducted in the autumn of 2007 to obtain photographs between the three decades with cooperation of Asahi Shinbun Co.
